As i was enjoying breakfast at the break of noon, i was looking forward to this JazzReggae concert event that was happening at UCLA. I was super excited to see some of the coolest artist and enjoy their even better music. First, was the sweet soothing sound of Amos Lee. His performance was more relaxed, but I thought it could have been more exciting. Next up, we have the, Immortal Technique. Their tracks were hard hitting and they way they spit theirs rhymes was so hard, it wasn't even spitting, it was vomit. Then one of my favorite artist came up and did her thang. She is so hot, it makes the sun seem like an ice storm, she is none other than Goapele. Her voice is amazing and her lyrics are so touching. I would marry her if i had the chance. Then the headliner, the last but definitely the least, The Roots. Everyone was so good at this concert and I can't wait for next year!!!
I got some pics with Immortal Technique:

Here are some pictures of Goapele (check out that dope hair do):
then we have The Roots:
and I ended the day watching an old man smoke a joint and dancing to the music:
So, that was my wonderful trip to LA basically. I can't wait to see you guys back in San Jose, so until next time...

Another day, another dolla...
As i woke up to the southern Cali sun, i couldn't find it. The morning was covered by a blanket of gloomy clouds. As I stepped outside, bullets were flying everywhere, and the rain paid a visit. So evidently I decided to leave the camera at home and it ended up being the worst decision of the day because by noon, the weather was more beautiful than the relentless eyes of Megan Fox. There were the usual visits, Supreme, in which i was able to get some pick ups, luckily i was greeted by some of my sister's friends from the store and they hooked it up nicely. The next stop was into the smaller shops around, Hall of Fame, A-Life, and Reserve LA. No pick ups at these spots, but if you are down there, a drop by is a must. There was a HUGE line at Diamond, so we headed over to The Hundreds. Greeted my Leila and the gang, my sister had a pick up or two. Diamond dropped their new season at the store this past Thursday, but there was still a fatty line. I manage to sneak in, get a few words with Nick Tershay and manage to get hooked up with a new tee. The last stop on Fairfax was to Flight Club, the shoes they stock are amazing, from Jordans to New Balance, and Nike to Vans. The prices are a little high due to the fact the sellers have to give 20% of that money back to Flight Club. Next, my sister took me to the so called "other" side of Melrose. When we arrived, we waited in a line outside A Bathing Ape just on a regular day to shop!!! After we rolled through to Adidas, DC, Crooks, and the last store on the "other" side was none other than Burton. These new stores are beautiful in design and the workers are really nice to talk to. Make the drive and give them your support. So enough of me talking, I know you want to see what I bought, so here is about 2100 dollas worth of stuff:
Supreme Halfcab Vans:
Supreme New Era and Jersey:
T-shirt from Nick:
Kicks from Flight Club:
Shoes and a gift for Geoff:
Crap Calvin wanted me to get him:
and of coarse, a gift or 3 for my little sister...
I really hope you enjoyed that, I will post pictures from JazzReggae tomorrow. So until then...

If you want things done right, do it yourself...
So after planning a month in advance to go to LA, everyone bailed faster than Kobe claiming consensual. In the end, I made the grueling 325 mile drive and ended up in a place with a calming atmosphere, electrified with a hidden agenda. The drive was so bland, the scenery couldn't have been more exciting than a 2 year old learning to use a toilet.
boring,
and boring....
but upon arrival, i was greeted by 3 lovely ladies:
She is responsible for my housing and eating here, Ngan!!!:
her ballin' roommate, Linda:
and of coarse, the lovely, Janelle:
So, we'll see how this trip goes... More coming soon...

Be smart kids and get your work done before you play...
styfrsh... or awake at least

hanging with the "BONG"
This week is when most schools let the kids out to play and call it a year. Luckily my good friend Vuong "Bong" Vu was back in town and the boys decided to go out and play.
First Stop: 300 Lanes
We were all sitting around, and we managed to bump into some old high school friends,
Say "Hi!!!" to Vincent Mingione
and... to our very own 49er Gold Rush cheerleader Morgan Vangastel (a little camera shy)
But at the end of the night, I have the bitter taste of defeat sloshing in my mouth... (even though I scored the highest individually)
This is why I lost...jk Solomon... not really...
Something better to look forward to. Now I understand the reason why millions of Americans are obese, we choose to eat after any event, happy or sad... (think about it in terms of your life). Just to get your motors going, try a birthday, graduation, after a movie, after a break up.... just think...
The price of defeat... maybe this will help stimulate the economy.
But in the end, I guess defeat doesn't really taste all that bad, it was quite delicious actually.

"Like a virgin, being touch for the very first time."
So what's with all the hype? Everyone has one of these, and I decided to start now... I guess I woke up a little late. So what are you supposed to write on your first post? I am going to tell you that I don't give a shit what you think or have to say about my blog. It's my blog for a reason, but i decided to start one because today, is the day i got my new camera, Nikon Digital SLR D60 courtesy of Wolf Camera. So as I was playing with it, I managed to take this breath taking picture. More to come, stay tuned kids....
